Market Manager of Curated Aberdeen 

We have an exciting opportunity to manage the new 'Curated Aberdeen' market within the Bon Accord Centre.   You will be responsible for supporting up to 30 independent stall holders in our new market which will be open Friday through to Sunday.  You will be the main point of contact for all stall holders and ensure the safe and smooth running of the market. You will also be responsible for generating new ideas and opportunities within the market, including themed weekends.

Ideally, you'll have:

·     Previous experience in a similar role within events or retail.

·     A successful track record of providing excellent customer service.

·     Experience of COVID19 retail guidelines.

Grants & Trusts Funding Officer (Maternity Cover - Fixed-Term Contract approx. 12 months - Salary £23,000 - £26,000 (dependent on skills and experience)

We are recruiting for a key fixed-term position within the Charlie House team. As Grants & Trusts Funding Officer (Maternity Cover) you will be responsible for generating income by proactively securing funding from charitable trusts to support ongoing and future community services and our planned capital appeal. You will also be responsible for delivering specific financial target incomes annually as set out and agreed in the fundraising strategy to deliver the proposed current and planned project.

Ideally, you'll have:

  • Experience of the preparation of funding applications for charitable trusts, foundations or businesses
  • An Institute of Fundraising certificate or diploma (desirable)

ReCHarge Café Hosts (Part-time) & ReCHarge Café Supervisor (Part-time)

ReCHarge Café is a social enterprise where 100% of profits made support the work of Charlie House.   We are looking for a part-time ReCHarge Supervisor and part-time ReCHarge Hosts to strengthen our existing team.  Working hours are agreed on a bi-weekly basis and worked as part of a rota.  You will play a key role in sharing the Charlie House story with customers, and how their purchase makes a real difference to local families.

We are looking for individuals who are passionate and enthusiastic and will ensure that all customers receive the best experience when visiting ReCHarge, in a clean, friendly and welcoming environment.   

We are currently recruiting for:

ReCHarge Supervisor (Part-time) - You will be responsible for supervising the ReCHarge Team which will consist of Hosts and Volunteers as well as assisting the manager in the smooth running of ReCHarge Café. Download the full application pack here for further information 

ReCHarge Hosts (Part-time) - You will be involved in the preparation and serving of hot and cold drinks (Barista training will be given).
