    • Mighty Stride – 17.8 miles (approx. 7 hours)

    • Starts at Bellfield Park, Banchory and ends at Duthie Park, Aberdeen

    • Wee Wander – 3.9 miles (approx. 1.5 hours)

    • Starts at Bieldside, Aberdeen and ends at Duthie Park, Aberdeen

Take Part in Kiltwalk Across Scotland

If you can’t make the Aberdeen Kiltwalk, you can still walk for Charlie House at one of the other Kiltwalk events in Scotland:

  • Glasgow – 26 & 27 April 2025

  • Dundee – 17 August 2025

  • Edinburgh – 14 September 2025

Each Kiltwalk event offers different route options and the same fantastic fundraising support. No matter where you walk, your fundraising will go directly towards helping children and families in the North-east of Scotland.

Gift Aid adds on 25% to your donation!

Gift Aid allows Charlie House, as a registered charity, to claim an additional 25% on top of your donation, at no extra cost to you. This means that for every £1 you donate, Charlie House can claim an additional 25p, increasing the total value of your donation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Registration will close when the event reaches capacity or by the Friday before the event, whichever comes first. As deadlines may change, we recommend signing up as soon as possible to secure your place and avoid disappointment.

The Kiltwalk entry fee helps cover event costs and allows 100% of your fundraising to go directly to your chosen charity. Entry fees for Kiltwalk Aberdeen 2025 are:

  • Mighty Stride (17.8 miles): £20 per adult

  • Wee Wander (3.9 miles): £12 per adult, £6 per child (aged 5-15), free for under 5s

Once registered, you can start fundraising for Charlie House, with every penny raised going directly to support children and families in North-east Scotland.

There is no minimum fundraising target for Kiltwalk, but we encourage all participants to raise as much as they can to support their chosen charity. Every pound you raise for Charlie House will go directly towards providing vital support for children with life-limiting conditions and their families in North-east Scotland. Plus, your fundraising could be boosted even further with eligible Gift Aid.

The Wee Wander (3.9 miles) route is generally suitable for wheelchair users, prams, and buggies, but accessibility may vary depending on the terrain and weather conditions. We recommend checking with the Kiltwalk team for detailed route accessibility information before registering. The Mighty Stride (17.8 miles) may include uneven surfaces and steeper inclines, making it more challenging for wheelchair users.

Yes! You can sign up individually or as part of a team.

No, wearing a kilt is encouraged but not required! You can wear whatever you feel comfortable in for the walk, which could include clothing that features a touch of Tartan, or something as simple as a Tartan ribbon or hair scrunchie.

Yes, Kiltwalk provides water stations and rest stops along the route. We also recommend bringing your own snacks and water to stay hydrated.
