We've recently wrapped up our successful 'Out and About' Open Day in Inverurie and Elgin, and are thrilled to announce the next leg of our 'Out and About' session taking place in Peterhead.
Our previous open days proved to be an exceptional opportunity for communities to engage with the Charlie House team in an inviting and relaxed setting. These sessions enabled visitors to discover more about the support and services out charity offers, learn about volunteering opportunities, how local businesses can get involved, explore ways to contribute to fundraising initiatives and much more.
Leigh Ryrie, Children and Family Support Manager at Charlie House, expressed her excitement about the success of the first events, saying, "The Charlie House team is thrilled by the warm reception we received in Inverurie and Elgin. We had the privilege of connecting with various individuals and families. Access to information is often the first step in families getting the support they need."
Our next open day is free for anyone to come along to and will provide an opportunity for visitors to meet the Charlie House team all at no cost. In addition to all of our planned activities for the day, Charlie Dog himself will be making appearances throughout the day for a ‘Beat the Goalie’ challenge! Attendees can also enjoy light refreshments such as teas and coffees.
