Charlie House has recognised global energy company CNOOC International for its incredible support of our Big Build Appeal by awarding them gold level status within our Big Build Patron Programme.
CNOOC International has supported Charlie House since 2018, providing funding for our volunteer project, community services, and family activities. Their donations, which total £91,000, also include a contribution of £35,000 towards our Big Build Appeal. This helps us take great steps towards having a specialist support facility in North East Scotland.
Susan Crighton, Director of Fundraising at Charlie House, says, “We are extremely grateful to CNOOC International for their ongoing support, which helps make it possible for us to continue providing support to families.”
She continues, “Their significant contribution to the Big Build Appeal takes us closer to our dream of delivering the Charlie House specialist support centre.”
Commenting on CNOOC International’s support to Charlie House, Scott McGinigal, VP – Major Projects, said, “CNOOC’s partnership with Charlie House stems from a shared passion and commitment to helping children and families from across our local community. We are honoured to be recognised as a gold patron and proud to have contributed to services which provide families coping with life-limiting conditions, with a safe, welcoming, and emotionally supportive environment.”
Charlie House continues to work hard to achieve our dream and funding from businesses such as CNOOC International helps us get closer to reaching major milestones for our charity and the families we support.
You can become a Big Build corporate supporter and help us build our dedicated support centre in Aberdeen so that families no longer need to travel over 100 miles to get vital support, respite, and care.
