We are committed to working professionals across many sectors which can include health, education and social care in North-east Scotland to ensure that children with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions and their families have access to the support they need.
There are more than 1,800 babies, children, and young people with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions in the North-east of Scotland alone. If you're a social worker or professional interested in learning more about the work we do here at Charlie House or would like to tell us about your organisation or role, we'd love to connect with you! We work alongside schools to ensure that pupils and their families who may be eligible for our support are signposted to Charlie House and made aware of the help we can provide. We also support teachers and staff through providing guidance, training and further opportunities to meet the needs of children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions within the school, alongside their siblings, families and peers.
