You may be working with a family
who could benefit from our services
We are committed to working professionals across many sectors which can include health, education and social care in North-east Scotland to ensure that children with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions and their families have access to the support they need.
There are more than 1,800 babies, children, and young people with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions in the North-east of Scotland alone. If you're a social worker or professional interested in learning more about the work we do here at Charlie House or would like to tell us about your organisation or role, we'd love to connect with you! Discover how you can play a crucial role in supporting local children and families, ensuring they receive the best support possible.
We work alongside schools to ensure that pupils and their families who may be eligible for our support are signposted to Charlie House and made aware of the help we can provide. We also support teachers and staff through providing guidance, training and further opportunities to meet the needs of children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions within the school, alongside their siblings, families and peers.
Adapting to life and caring for your child with a life-limiting condition can be difficult, isolating, stressful and life-changing. Charlie House is here to help you every step of the way.
