The team at BMI Albyn Hospital in Aberdeen came together at the Beach Ballroom to enjoy their first charity ball in aid of local children’s charity, Charlie House.
The ball brought together consultants, doctors, nurses, friends of Charlie House and all the hospital team to raise funds to support the charity. In total over £4,000 was raised on the night.
Stuart Storrie, Executive Director of Albyn Hospital commented, “Everyone at BMI appreciates the importance of working alongside those in our local community, including our colleagues in the NHS, local businesses and services. We are thrilled to support Charlie House. They do incredibly valuable work locally and throughout the North East of Scotland.”
The evening was also attended by BMI Healthcare’s Chief Executive Officer, Karen Prins and Regional Director, Chris Buckingham who joined together to support such a worthy cause and to recognise staff service, ranging from 5 to 30 years.
Charlie House provides support services for babies, children and young people with complex disabilities and life-limiting conditions in the North-east of Scotland, and their families.← back
