How We Help

When you receive the news that your baby or child has or develops a serious life-long or degenerative condition, needs constant care and maybe not live a long life, it can affect everyone in the family – mum, dad, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles and grandparents.

Adapting to life, caring for your child with a life-limiting condition can be difficult, isolating, stressful and life-changing for everyone but you are not alone. There are hundreds of families just like yours and many live in the local area, other mum’s and dad’s you can share your experiences with, families who will know just how you feel and will understand your anxieties.

Charlie House organises activities and projects to enable families to gain confidence, engage socially, enjoy activities together, meet others in a similar situation, share information and to get emotional and practical support when they need it most.
