Star Room

Unfortunately, although medical advances have enabled children with life-limiting conditions to survive longer, sometimes a child may pass away. The child would be moved to the Star Room giving the families a dedicated private space to spend time with their child after they have died, treasure memories and receive visitors in a supported environment.

The star room has a neutral colour scheme to enable the families to decorate and accessorise the room according to their or their child’s wishes. The Star Room has a dedicated adjacent lounge and access to a walled garden area for privacy at a difficult time.

The support team will work closely with the family helping them through their bereavement.
